Nathalie Emmanuel

Nathalie Emmanuel, a British actor who is best known for her part as Missandei (HBO's fantasy drama Game of Thrones) from between 2011 and 2019, was the first British actor. Born and raised in Southend-on-the-Sea which is a resort on the sea town located in Essex, Emmanuel was drawn to the stage from a young age. The mother of her daughter was immediately impressed at her talent, and as young Nathalie was just three years old, parents enrolled her in the singing, dancing and acting classes. Emmanuel became a fast-growing actor, and by the end of her 90s, she was playing the role of young Nala as Nala in"The Lion King," a West End stage productions of the well-known stage musical "The Lion King." By the time she became a teenager, Emmanuel began auditioning for film and TV roles. In 2007, she landed her first big role, when she appeared as Sasha Valentine in the British soap show Hollyoaks (Channel 4 from 1995 to). Emmanuel acted in the role for four seasons before leaving the show in. Emmanuel was given her first break just three years later as she was chosen as Missandei in the HBO show Game of Thrones.
